Our winter season is short but it is generally mild and nighttime lows can get as low as 40 degrees celsius. Las Vegas does get snowfall during the winter but snow is rare in the Las Vegas Valley. Once in a while when it snows it reaches the Las Vegas Valley. Annual Precipitation is roughly 4.5 inch, which on average occurs 29 days per year and usually occurs during winter. We also have a monsoon season that occurs during the summer and flash floods take place.
